Development for YawnBuster was keeping me well busy for the last couple of months, Not that I am work-a-holic but certianly the concept carries so much of weight that all the time while developing this product I had a strong urge of putting in my extra for this one. I am pretty sure that the hay-yellow market of PowerPoint would now turn to grass-green with this Product. Some of the Activities in YawnBuster carry so much Zest that it has a great potential to create a nail-biting environment in your Presentations. Well technically it can be the IPresent interface for your classrooms as well as IPresent for the pupils in the classroom. Well, so far so good. As of now we could bundle only 8 activities some of them are as follows-Show of Hands and BrainStorm- This activity can definitely be a good ice-breaker. As in its more like a conversation starter. You get to display a Poll with your question on screen and the individuals raise hands for pressing their votes. The updated graph is seen right on screen.
Spiders Web- Well it was hard putting the code together for this one. First time ever I could actually make use of the BackTracking Alorithm in Flash for making the 'n' spiders with 'm' unique places to visit with randomly put 'x' questions and with 3 levels unlocking after a condition. Sounds Hard right! Well the game is as simple as it should be. Just put in your Level wise questions (Easy,Hard and Extra Hard) and the pupils will enjoy the spiders crawling to different places in the web testing their luck. Phew!! Writing was no easy too.
Bingo- Vikas used this activity in one of our internal presentations and the feedback that we got was awsome! Bingo is a hit! Its the usual BINGO game with every number generation pupils are asked a valid question. They answer and get the number scratched from their as well as the other players cards. 1 miss and the chances for having a Complete Bingo are all gone. Row level Bingo too fetches good amount of score. Animation synronization was a challenge in this.
Quiz Show- Quiz show is the usual Multiple Choice/Multiple Answer questionair that has a score option that can cause 'n' groups to compete with each other.
Point of View- Consider a question having different views from different groups. If you want to note all of them together and wish to compare them as well this is the best activity that can help you. Multi-Multi dimension arrays was the catch in this.
Sequencing- A usual sequence interactivity only the thing different is that the class goes on building sequence in a selective manner with a set of interactive rules. Bad sequence is highlighted as well as right sequence normalizes the Activity.
Summary- This is a revolution! You can actually capture the view of the classroom or actually you yourself can take down notes while you are presenting. In the end it shows all the notes you have captured in a Flip book format or may be in a "All notes display". This is one of its kind Activity.
Well said that much you can yourself download the product for a FREE trial at http://www.yawnbuster.com.
